With all the excitement for the upcoming opening weekend in the AHL, it can’t get any better, right? Oh, you bet.
As part of the expanded partnership between the AHL and FloSports, every Saturday throughout the regular season will feature a FREE AHL Game of the Week streamed live on all FloHockey social media platforms.
For the selected AHL Game of the Week, the same live stream distributed to FloHockey subscribers will be available on FloHockey’s YouTube and X pages. The game will also be streamed live on Facebook with streams available on the FloHockey page and the AHL pages with each team participating in the game, giving fans multiple ways to engage with live game action.
FloHockey subscribers will still be able to enjoy the game as they always do through FloHockey.tv or the FloSports app, if they choose to do so.
2024 Cleveland Monsters vs Hershey Bears
The first game to be streamed live and free on social media this season will be Saturday, October 12, when the defending champion Hershey Bears host the Cleveland Monsters on a night to raise their 13th Calder Cup banner.
The puck will drop at 7 pm ET, but FloHockey will also have a banner raising ceremony scheduled to begin at 6:40 pm ET.
The AHL Game of the Week selection will be announced during the week leading up to the game by the AHL and FloHockey. FloHockey will also provide additional programming coverage and highlight coverage of each AHL Game of the Week on both FloHockey.tv and social media.

On Saturday nights throughout the season, the AHL and FloHockey will present a free Game of the Week on YouTube. The home team stream will be shared as a free stream on FloHockey’s YouTube page. The free stream will begin shortly before the puck drops. Check the FloHockey and AHL public channels to see which game will be broadcast each week.

The home team stream will be shared as a free stream on the FloHockey Twitter page. The free stream will begin shortly before puck drop, posted on FloHockey’s X feed. Check the FloHockey and AHL public channels to see which game will be broadcast each week.

How to Watch Free AHL Streams on Facebook
On Saturday nights throughout the season, the AHL and FloHockey will present a Free Game of the Week on Facebook. You can access the game in many ways on Facebook. FloHockey will broadcast both home and (if available) road broadcasts on its Facebook page. Additionally, home broadcasts will be streamed on both the AHL and the home team’s Facebook page. If available, road coverage will be shared on the road team’s Facebook page. The free stream will begin shortly before the puck drops.
