Noida Airport has partnered with Mahindra Logistics Mobility for an electric taxi service

The Noida International Airport (NIA) on Thursday said it has partnered with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to provide electric taxi services to passengers flying to and from the airport.

The night and seven-day-a-week service will have pick-up and drop-off points located at the arrival and departure points, reducing the travel distance, the NIA said.

Passengers will be able to book a ride through a variety of channels, including a dedicated mobile app, website, call center, airline alliances, and airline shopping centers. This multi-channel approach will ensure accessibility and ease of booking for travelers, he said.

The fleet will be managed with a focus on real-time dynamic adjustments based on passenger demand and flight schedules, reducing waiting times, and increasing service availability, NIA said.

“We have partnered with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to offer you an all-electric taxi service, to provide you with a seamless and eco-friendly journey from the airport to your destination.

This first-of-its-kind airport-branded cab service will set a new benchmark for passenger comfort and environmental responsibility,” said Christoph Schnellmann, CEO at Noida International Airport.

The airport operator also said that the drivers will be rigorously trained on the airport’s protocols and customer service standards, ensuring high communication with passengers.
