Former NFL star Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones was arrested hours after the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul boxing match, police said.
Adam “Pacman” Jones was taken into police custody in Arlington, Texas, hours after the boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
Arlington police told The Athletic that the former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is facing charges of assault on a police officer and public intoxication. Jones also faces charges of evading arrest.
Police arrested Jones at the Loews Arlington Hotel, a resort less than a mile from AT&T Stadium, the site of Friday night’s fight.

Police say Jones was involved in an argument at the hotel bar shortly after 1 a.m. Hotel security notified an off-duty officer about the altercation.
When the officer arrived at the bar, authorities said, Jones and the others involved in the incident were separated.

However, Jones “continued to approach and yell at other people involved,” investigators said. At one point, the responding officer stepped between the groups and told Jones that he would be arrested if he tried to continue fighting.
Sometime later, Jones was involved in another fight at the same hotel. A police officer and hotel security intervened to try to end the conflict. At that point, police said, Jones “struck the officer in the arm.”
The female officer then told Jones that she was going to be arrested. But Jones managed to escape being handcuffed for a short while and started to walk away before the officer’s backup arrived.
