First title of Hero World Challenge on Friday
Just weeks after becoming a new father, Justin Thomas is looking like his old self again. In Thursday’s opening round, the two-time PGA champion shot a six-under 66.
The star’s first score was the best of all but one player. Cameron Young beat Thomas by two overs with a 64 to take the lead in the first round.
Thomas and Young will play together at 12:34 pm ET on Friday in the final pairing of the second round.
