Caitlin Clark celebrates the Chiefs’ win over the Chargers: ‘The bank is open’
Caitlin Clark was among the Kansas City Chiefs fans who held their breath when Matthew Wright’s field goal bounced off the goal and into the high post on Sunday night.
Wright’s kick won the AFC West division for the Chiefs as they defeated the Los Angeles Chargers for the second time this season.

Clark was happy too.
“The bank is open …. CHIEFSSSSSSSSSS,” the Indiana Fever star wrote on X.
Clark has been a longtime Chiefs fan and revealed as much last year when he appeared on ESPN’s “Manningcast,” when the team played the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I’ve been a Chiefs fan since I was a little girl,” she said via USA Today. My brother was a Chiefs fan, my father was a Chiefs fan, I have cousins in Kansas City who were Chiefs fans.
“Therefore, there was an embarrassing picture of me wearing Chiefs gear and floating earlier today.”

For Chiefs, their reign as AFC West champions has increased to nine years in a row. This year there has been more of a challenge as injuries are rampant as this team has won many games by a few points.
“I’m proud of the guys, even the coaches (and) if (chairman and CEO) Clark (Hunt) gives us the opportunity to do this, or (president) Mark Donovan (general manager) Brett Veach,” the head of the Chiefs. said coach Andy Reid. “I mean we’re all in this together trying to do this – and it’s not easy, it’s not easy. Every year it’s a little bit different in how we get there.

“I’m proud of our boys for just playing (because) we’ve had a lot of tougher games than other years. The boys are still in awe, feeling like good things are going to happen and they keep fighting.”
