For annual capital gains distributions, these will be reinvested in additional units of ETF series securities and do not include any December distribution amounts. Additional units will be added immediately so that the number of units remaining after the distribution equals the number of units remaining before the distribution.
The actual taxable distribution amounts for 2024, including the tax aspects of the distribution, will be reported to CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc. in early 2025. Security holders can contact their trading company for this information.

Please note that distribution factors (split between income, capital gains and capital returns) can only be calculated when the fund has reached the end of the year. The distribution information should not be relied upon for income tax reporting purposes as this is only part of the total distribution for the year. For accurate distribution amounts for the purpose of filing an income tax return, please refer to the relevant T3/T5 slips for that tax year. Please refer to the prospectus or supply memorandum of each Fund for details of the Fund’s distribution policy.
Distribution payouts and distribution splits, if applicable, are not guaranteed and are subject to change. Dividend payments should not be confused with the Fund’s performance, rate of return, or yield. If the dividends paid by the Fund are greater than the performance of the Fund, then the original investment of the investor will be reduced. Dividends paid as a result of capital gains earned by the Fund and income and dividends earned by the Fund are taxable in the year in which they are paid. The investor’s adjusted expenses will be reduced by the amount of any capital return. If the investor’s adjusted expenses become less than zero, then capital gains tax will have to be paid on the amount less than zero.
