American Airlines reports a ‘technical issue’ affecting all flights

American Airlines reported a widespread “technical issue” affecting all flights on Tuesday as more Americans began to travel for the holidays.

An advisory from the Air Traffic Control System Command Center indicates that the airline has issued a nationwide stop on Christmas Eve.

“We are currently experiencing a technical issue with all American Airlines flights,” the airline wrote on X. “Your safety is our top priority, once this is fixed, we will keep you safe on your way to your destination.”
