HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (AP) – A plane incident at Halifax Stanfield International Airport caused temporary delays to all flight operations Saturday night.
Airport spokeswoman Tiffany Chase said at approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday, an Air Canada Express flight operated by Pal Airlines arriving from St. John’s, Newfoundland., an incident occurred when it arrived.
Air Canada spokesman Peter Fitzpatrick said the plane experienced a “landing gear problem” after landing Saturday night, adding that the plane was unable to land and 73 crew and passengers were disembarked by bus.

Fitzpatrick said no one was injured on the boat, but a spokesperson for the Nova Scotia Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who responded to the incident and emergency services, said minor injuries were reported.
Chase said that flight operations were suspended after the incident pending permission to resume flight operations, while one of the runways has resumed normal operations.
The cause of the incident is still unknown and is under investigation.
