The news comes via the Maryland lottery website, and was shared in a story written by Miami Herald photo Natalie Demaree. The winner’s real name, according to the lottery website, was not given, but he is from Calvert County, Maryland; The winning ticket, which paid $151,210, was purchased at Dunkirk Fastop in Calvert County; and the drawing, for the Powerball game, was held on December 21.

With his numbers? According to the lottery website, you used 1, 17, 21 and 58 – and this is where one hole comes in.

1 was for one hole made by a male team member on the day of the drawing.

17 was the hole number.

The 21st was a hole day for the other.

58 was a combination of cart numbers – this man’s team used carts 5 and 8.

According to the website, the man matched four numbers, as well as a Powerball number (which was not provided by the website), to win $50,000, and then won another $100,000 due to “multiplication.” An additional $1,200 came from matching four numbers (excluding the Powerball number) on the other four lines of his ticket, and another $10 was won due to a “Double Play.”

Surprisingly, the man said he plans to buy new clubs with the winnings.
