More than 300 flights were delayed at Delhi airport due to bad weather

More than 300 flights were delayed at the Delhi airport on Tuesday due to low visibility. The official said there were no disruptions to flights on Tuesday. In a post at X at 5.20 pm, DIAL said runway visibility at Delhi airport has improved and all flights are operating normally.

Passengers are requested to contact the concerned airline for updated flight information, Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) said.

According to the official, more than 300 flights have been delayed at the airport due to poor visibility.

DIAL operates from the national capital’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), which handles around 1,300 flight movements every day.

Meanwhile, bad weather conditions also affected flight operations at other airports.

“Flights to/from Amritsar, Chandigarh and Patna continue to be affected. We understand how this is affecting your travel plans, and we really wish the weather had been better.

“We are closely monitoring the situation and we hope to return to normal as soon as the weather permits,” said IndiGo in a letter to X at 6.28 pm.
