SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League has announced 2025 AHL All-Star Rosters presented by FloHockey.
Each of the four divisions of the AHL will be represented by 12 players on the roster The 2025 AHL All-Star Classic is presented by Spotlight 29 Casinoto be held February 2-3 in Palm Desert, Calif. Rosters are determined by AHL coaching committees, and all 32 AHL teams are represented by at least one All-Star.
The 2025 AHL All-Star Rosters presented by FloHockey feature the first 36 AHL All-Stars and 13 rookies, along with 12 first-round NHL draft picks and two second-round picks. In addition, 20 of the All-Stars named have played in the National Hockey League already this season, including Cleveland’s. Denton Mateychuk (Columbus), Grand Rapids’ Sebastian Cossa (Detroit), Texas Lian Bichsel again Justin Hryckowian (Dallas), and Utica Seamus Casey (New Jersey), all of whom made their NHL debuts in 2024-2025.
Based on their teams holding the best record in their division at the end of the game on December 31, the head coach of the Charlotte Checkers Geordie Kinnearhead coach of the Toronto Marlies John Grudenhead coach of the Grand Rapids Griffins Dan Watson and head coach of the Calgary Wranglers Trent Cull were selected to work as coaches in this event. (Cull currently serves as an interim assistant coach with the Calgary Flames; Joe Cirella he is the interim coach of the Wranglers until he returns.)

The Skills Competition will pit the Elites from two divisions of the Eastern Conference against those from two divisions of the Western Conference in seven skills events. In the AHL All-Star Challenge, four teams will participate in a 3-on-3, round-robin tournament to determine the All-Star champions.
