California wildfires: Police shoot celebs burned in floats
As i Wildfires in Los Angeles continued to consume parts of Southern California, leaving homes in ruins and families displaced, many are left wondering how this all happened.
Authorities have assigned destruction investigators to Pacific Palisades to determine the origin of the fire that burned thousands of buildings in the area.
“The cause of the fire is still unknown, and is still under investigation,” Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said Thursday.

But some celebrities aren’t buying it.
“THERE IS AN ARSONIST HERE,” actor Henry Winkler wrote Wednesday on X. “May you be beaten invisible!!! The pain you caused!!!”
Actress Alison Sweeney simply replied, “yes.”
Singer Chris Brown took to his Instagram feed on Thursday and wrote, “The person who starts these fires. S— don’t add up.”
“Dancing with the Stars” producer Peta Murgatroyd shared a tweet originally written by political and cultural broadcaster Xaviaer DuRousseau that read: “LOS ANGELES / SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THERE ARE AT LEAST FIVE MEN IN SKI MASKS STARTING FIRES. GET OUT.”

TV personality Elizabeth Chambers has retracted a screenshot of reports of people allegedly starting the fire.
“It feels like this is so much more than nature,” he wrote on his Instagram stories.
Celebrity podcaster and neuroscientist Andrew Huberman shared a video on X that purportedly shows a group of people standing near what appears to be a fire that has just started in Santa Monica.
“People are setting fires in fireproof areas in LA,” Huberman told X, alongside the video. “We don’t need any more flames here. Some of those guys started that fire … the tree burned, and the palm trees burned.”
Despite the various allegations, the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News Digital, “We have not received any reports of arson.”
As of Thursday, Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone declared the Eaton and Palisades wildfires 0% contained. The Eaton Fire has spread to 10,600 acres, and the Palisades Fire has reached 17,234 acres.
Another wildfire in Acton is 40 percent contained, Marrone said. That fire was limited to only 348 hectares.
Firefighters also successfully stopped the progress of the Sunset Fire in Hollywood Hillssaid the officials.

An estimated 180,000 people have been evacuated from their homes, and another 200,000 are under evacuation warnings.
Billy Crystal, Anna Faris, Sandra Lee, Paris Hilton, Spencer and Heidi Pratt are among the long list of celebrities who have lost their homes.
