It’s hard to say whether the Warriors as a team or Steph Curry as an individual is in a dark place right now.
Golden State lost another preventable loss at home to a team that lost its star player after falling 114-98 at Miami without Jimmy Butler.
Curry could be seen on the radio hitting a chair in frustration during the second quarter after the Heat took a 42-29 lead.

After the game, he was asked how he thought the team could fix the struggling offense — which had failed to score 100 points in its past four.
“I really don’t know,” Curry said. “We will try to clarify it. But I don’t have an answer right now.”
The game had the same tone as before, as the Dubs won 129-99 against the Kings without De’Aaron Fox.
The disappointment from Steph is completely obvious.
“Yeah, I mean, back-to-back no shows,” Curry said. “What is difficult is that these are games that cannot be won by teams that, for whatever reason, are the same [spot in the] stop. …There’s nothing to show for it, nothing to cling to like ‘Oh, we’re doing great if we can…’
“It looks like both sides of the ball are struggling. They are probably connected, if you shoot often your confidence increases, your belief that you can win the game increases. It helps you play defense. When you lose that spirit it becomes clear how bad we can be at times.”
Team coach Steve Kerr says he can see that the Warriors’ troubles are taking a toll on their star.
“I see,” Kerr said. “I see you too Steph. He continued to shine day and night but in his mind, he is a winner, he is a champion, he wants to compete at the highest level. We just saw it a few months ago in Paris. The best of all. He takes the fourth quarter when everything is on the line. That’s who he is, that’s what he lives for. So you really struggle with the feeling of [the team] not competing right now. He probably hasn’t faced this since his, I don’t know, his first few years in the league. He’s really fighting it.”
The Warriors now drop to No. 10 in the West with an 18-18 record and .500 after losing 15 of their last 21 games. Yes.
