Delhi Weather Update: Dense fog blankets national capital, 45 trains delayed
Delhi Weather Update: Fog loomed over the national capital on Saturday morning, reducing visibility which affected train operations, officials said. They said 45 trains were delayed due to dense fog.
According to the meteorological department, Safdarjung saw a low visibility of 50 meters from 12.30 am to 1.30 am which improved after that to 200 meters and continues to be at 7.30 am.
Many areas experienced dense fog during the morning hours.
The minimum temperature settled at 7.7 degrees Celsius, which is normal during the season, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather department has predicted thunderstorms and rain during the day. Maximum temperatures are likely to remain around 15 degrees Celsius, it said.
