Honda presents the 2025 Dio with advanced features, compatibility with OBD2B; here’s everything you need to know
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new 2025 version of the Dio in the Indian market. Priced starting at Rs 74,930 (ex-showroom Delhi), the newly launched scooter is packed with advanced features and improved performance, as per the company’s official launch.

The 2025 Dio is powered by a 109.51cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine, which is now OBD2B compliant, meeting the latest emission norms. Also, it produces 5.85 kW of power, and 9.03 Nm of torque, and is equipped with an Idling stop system to improve fuel efficiency.
Delivering the launch speech, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President and CEO of HMSI, shared, “Dio has always been synonymous with new energy and innovation. With the launch of the 2025 Dio, we aim to redefine the scooter experience by incorporating modern technology. , improved performance, and eco-friendly compliance that keep the core concept of the moto scooter intact.”

In terms of features, the Dio now gets a new 4.2-inch TFT display with mileage indicators, trip meter, Eco indicator, and Range (distance to empty). It is also equipped with a USB Type-C charging port for charging devices on the go.
2025 Honda Dio: Variants and Colors
The new Dio retains its reputation but now comes with alloy wheels that are different from the top-spec DLX. It is available in two variants, STD and DLX, and comes in five striking colors: Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Igneous Black + Pearl Deep Ground Grey, Mat Marvel Blue, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.
