“The View” host Sunny Hostin released a statement about her husband’s alleged insurance fraud on Tuesday, arguing that the company that filed the lawsuit is known for frivolous lawsuits.
Hostin gave a statement to Entertainment Weekly saying that the company, American Transit Insurance Co., a New York-based auto insurance provider that insures Uber, Lyft and taxi companies in the state, filed the lawsuit “to avoid paying for the medical and surgical procedures people involved in.” insurance for those in pain.”

The host of “The View” also said, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, that American Transit is at risk of bankruptcy.
In particular, Emmanuel Hostin is accused of receiving compensation for “operating and fraudulently billing” American Transit, according to the lawsuit.

“We have put American Transit on notice and will file a counterclaim for $5 million on their defamation claims, an amount that is likely to increase as the intentional damage to reputation caused by American Transit is difficult to quantify at this time,” Hostin’s statement continued, demanding that Americans “drop these allegations.” they are lying, pay my husband what he owes and apologize publicly.”
The situation was discussed privately on “The View,” sources told Fox News Digital. Hostin has so far not spoken about the case on air.
