Aerial images show the extent of Israeli destruction in Gaza | Israel-Palestine Conflicts News
Much of the Gaza Strip has been destroyed after more than 15 months of relentless Israeli bombardment, leaving hundreds of thousands of Palestinians homeless.
About 90 percent of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents were forcibly evicted during the genocide – most of them multiple times.
With the ceasefire now in place, many have returned to their homes, but more than a year of Israeli bombardment has left many homes in ruins and completely uninhabitable.
“The cessation of bloodshed is an indescribable feeling. I thank God that I survived this war safely. However, when we returned to our homes, we found nothing but desolation and desolation. I can’t describe the scene in words. I don’t know what to say,” said Jomaa Shadi, a Palestinian who was deported, told Al Jazeera.
“I built this house piece by piece, and when I returned to it, I didn’t find it the way I knew it. I don’t see my house, I only see the damage.”
