Kolkata Metro will charge Rs 10 for all its night train tickets on the Dum Dum-New Garia corridor, an official said.
The night train operates in both directions at 10.40 pm, he said.
The decision was taken as it is too bad to sit on a night train, he added.
The fee will be increased from December 10 regardless of the distance traveled, said the official.
