Authorities are investigating after the youth was shot dead at midnight Friday in Los Angeles County Community of Willowbrook.
The victim, identified as a young man, was shot by an unknown amount of times at 13100 block of Jarvis Avenue in South La, according to the department of Los Angeles County Sheriff.
The young man was taken to hospital and said that he was dead there, the department said.
Gabriela Robles said on Saturday morning that the Sheriff department could not provide any other information on firing or suspected.
