LA Christmas forecast: Wet and cloudy with clear skies
A cold front will move into Los Angeles County on Christmas Eve, bringing light rain in the afternoon, but ending in the evening.
“I don’t think it’s going to be dark for anybody,” said meteorologist Joe Sirard at the National Weather Service office in Oxnard.
Overall, Christmas Day in Los Angeles will be dry, breezy and sunny with daytime temperatures mostly in the 60s.
A cold front will bring a persistent storm to the Antelope Valley beginning Tuesday evening and move through parts of the Santa Clarita, San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys on Wednesday.
A high surf warning will be issued Tuesday afternoon for beaches in Los Angeles and Ventura County. Minor to moderate coastal flooding is possible on the Central Coast and Ventura County.
