Ola Electric announces the ‘BOSS of All Savings’ after a record breaking festive season
Ola BOSS for all savings: Ola Electric on Thursday, November 7, announced the ‘BOSS of All Savings’ program as part of its ongoing Biggest Ola Season Sale (BOSS) campaign. The announcement comes on the back of a strong festive season, which saw impressive growth in EV 2W subscriptions, led by Ola Electric.
As part of the ‘BOSS of All Savings’ promotion, Ola Electric is offering savings of up to Rs 15,000 on the purchase of the popular Ola S1. The savings go beyond the initial purchase, with customers benefiting from Rs 30,000 annually in lower running and maintenance costs compared to conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
For example, with the company’s flagship Ola S1 X (2kWh), customers who travel a distance of 30 km daily can save up to Rs 31,000 per year, enabling them to recover the cost of the car within just a few years of ownership.
“To drive EV adoption, the company is organizing Educational Clinics at Ola Electric Stores across the country,” according to an official release. These clinics are designed to “educate customers on the low total cost of ownership (TCO) and high performance and advanced technology features that the Ola S1 portfolio offers compared to ICE vehicles.”
October 2024 marked a milestone for Ola Electric, where the company sold more than 50,000 units and registered 41,605 units (according to Vahan data), consolidating its leadership position in the Indian EV 2W segment. Ola Electric now has a market share of 30 percent and has reported a growth of 74 percent year-on-year, according to its output.
The company offers a range of S1 models, with prices starting at Rs 74,999 for the S1 X portfolio. More premium models, including the S1 Pro and S1 Air, are priced at Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1, 07,499, respectively.
Looking ahead, Ola Electric is expanding its service network as part of the #HyperService campaign, aiming to double its service centers to 1,000 by December 2024. The company also plans to expand its network to 10,000 centers by the end of 2025, along with training. 1 lakh third-party mechanics to make Indian workforce EV-ready, an official release said.
