Real estate tycoon tells California to ‘stand up and protest’ Democrats could have prevented wildfire disaster

Grant Cardone has built his real estate legacy from coast to coast, but the conservative business leader is furious with California’s Democratic leadership for not acting quickly to prevent devastating wildfire damage after his Malibu home was destroyed by flames.
“You cut budgets when you should have increased them. You said you were right but you were wrong. You were wrong on both counts. Hold yourself accountable and get off the ground,” Cardone told Fox News Digital on Thursday.
“My message to California – revolt and protest. Demand that those in power be held accountable.”
Carbon allegedly owns one of the last homes in Carbon Beach, which has recently been the victim of five fires that have hit the Los Angeles area. At least five people have died and more than 29,000 acres are still burning as of early Thursday, according to Cal Fire.
DEMOCRAT’S INSURANCE PROPOSAL FALLS AS INTENSE
While Gov. As Gavin Newsom continues to scrutinize the state’s tragedies, Cardone echoed calls made recently by President-elect Donald Trump that Newsom must resign “immediately,” citing “gross incompetence.”

He told Fox Digital that he wants Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to resign immediately, too.
“I’ve lived there for 35 years in that place. And for years I’ve been saying this is a soft box waiting to go off… There’s hundreds of billions of dollars in damage across California that could have been prevented if California had prioritized the right things,” Cardone reiterated during an appearance on “Mornings with Maria.”
“This is a corrupt government that depends on the federal government under emergencies. They make more money in emergencies than they do in just budgeting,” he continued. “They said we have a lot of water, but no pressure. If they didn’t spend $12 billion on high-speed rail to Vegas or basically nowhere, you would have that money, one, to bury the electricity and give the pressure. to all [water] hydrants.”

Carone also criticized: “It’s a mismanagement of priorities. The state of California, for the last 25 years, has been more interested in the agendas of exotic, exotic groups than we are the people of California… Maybe this will be the one, when the people of California finally have enough and start voting for conservative politicians, who use logic or businessmen in the government to manage their budget.”
FOX Weather reported that preliminary estimates put the cost of the damage at about 52 billion dollars, possibly making this event the costliest wildfire in US history.

City government data also shows that in the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Los Angeles has budgeted $837 million for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), which is roughly 65% of the $1.3 billion homeless budget. An analysis by the LA city administrator last year found that nearly half of the homeless budget was not spent.
“Elon Musk is trying to go to Mars, and we can’t get pressure and water in the hydrants? We have plenty of water. We’re in the Pacific,” said Cardone. “They’re going to try to make this a global warming project… people.”
