The Sensex has lost ground 55.5 points, or 0.1 percent, to end with 79,486.3 while the Nifty50 sat 24,148.2, down 51.2 points, or 0.2 percent, from its previous close.

The pharmacy’s quarterly numbers also fell short of Street estimates. Its net profit jumped 46.6 percent to Rs 510 crore but fell short of Zee Business analysts’ expectations of Rs 555 crore.
