Chinese Offshore Ship Enters Philippine Waters, Ignoring Warnings, Officials Say

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) issued a warning to a Chinese vessel that they said was illegally sailing near Philippine territory on Friday, January 17, after patrolling a Chinese vessel for the past two weeks.

Pictures from Jay Tarriela, a PCG spokesman, showed a warning radioed from a PCG vessel when Chinese Coast Guard vessel 5901 was spotted nearby.
