Several were arrested as a pro-Palestinian rally in Berlin ended early

Several people were arrested at a pro-Palestinian rally in Berlin, held a few hours after the implementation of the agreement between Israel and Hamas on Sunday, and to stop fighting in the Gaza Strip.

Participants shouted prohibited anti-Semitic slogans and started using pyrotechnics, police said on Sunday afternoon on channel X, adding that 12 people had been arrested.

It is reported that the members of the media who were covering the meeting were insulted and blocked while they were doing their job.

Several hundred people gathered to celebrate developments in the Middle East conflict.

Police said the rally was stopped early by the organizer after consultation with the police, just before 8pm (1900 GMT).

Over the weekend, many pro-Palestinian demonstrations took place across Berlin.

On Saturday, several hundred people protested against the delivery of weapons to Israel and expressed solidarity with those in Gaza. Police report criminal cases at these events as well.
