It’s equipment release season, and new clubs keep coming.

The latest release comes from Bettinardi Golf, which has introduced its HLX 6.0 wedges.

The HLX 6.0 are the latest wedges from a company that made its name by making precision-milled putters. Bettinardi has been steadily growing in the wedge and iron space, and the HLX 6.0 is the company’s latest take on its synthetic wedge line.

Here are three things to know about Bettinardi Golf’s HLX 6.0 wedges:

Carbon steel

The HLX 6.0 wedges have a 1020 carbon steel head that provides a soft and responsive feel.

“By building our HLX 6.0 Wedges from soft carbon steel instead of casting, we deliver the premium feel that consumers and Tour players have come to expect from the Bettinardi name,” said Robert Bettinardi, CEO and founder of Bettinardi Golf, in a press release. “Since launching our line in 2014, each generation has continued to evolve with new technologies, lofts, grinds, and cutting edge technology, solidifying Bettinardi as a trusted leader in the wedge category.”

The molded carbon steel head allows for improved turf contact and ball response.

The HLX 6.0 wedges come with a refined RJ grind that gives the wedges more comfort in the heel and toe.

Helix Cut grooves

To deliver the spin, control and precision players need from their wedges, Bettinardi Golf has supplied the HLX 6.0 forged wedges with the latest iteration of its Helix Cut lines.

Bettinardi’s HLX 6.0 engineered wedges come with a tighter groove spacing, which gives them more spin and promotes a lower launch trajectory.

Options, pricing, and availability

Bettinardi Golf offers its HLX 6.0 wedges made of chrome and graphite PVD. They are available for both left and right handed golfers.

You can pre-order the innovative HLX 6.0 irons January 22. They will be available $199 to begin with February 20.
