According to the Department of Information and Communications (DICT), piracy cases in the Philippines are increasing at an alarming rate.
“Since recently, there has been an increase in data piracy reports,” DICT Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs Renato A. Paraiso told BusinessWorld in an interview.
Mr. Paraiso reminded the public that practicing hygiene in cybersecurity and being vigilant in using links can help people avoid becoming victims of such cyber crimes.
