A 30-second video in the post shows the group children in uniform emerge from a building that appears to be emitting smoke while an alarm goes off. It has been viewed over 73,000 times times.

A post appeared after An earthquake in China’s remote Tibet region killed at least 126 people and damaged thousands of buildings early in January. 7 (archived here).
The China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) measured the earthquake’s magnitude as 6.8, while the US Geological Survey reported it at 7.1. Tremors were also felt in the neighboring country of India and Nepal, although not the injured it was reported.
Similar posts have spread elsewhere on Facebook, but the video they shared is not related to the latest one Earthquake.
Firefighting school
Doing a reverse image search on Google, followed by a keyword search, turned up a long version of a video posted on November 22, 2024 to Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.
The Chinese language caption translates to English as: “This fire escape program was a great success. More than 1,400 teachers and students from the school were evacuated to a safe place within two and 30 minutes. seconds.”

User Douyin posted a video introducing himself as a teacher from Taiyuan Middle School Hengyang County in Hunan China the province. And with him he has shared many videos of school activities on his feed (archived here, here and here).
Keyword search using the name of the school in Chinese received a report published on November 25, 2024 by the Hengyang county government regarding fire drill work (archived here).
“Taiyuan Township Furong School: Act quickly to prevent disasters before they start,” reads the article.
Furong School and Hengyang County Fire and Rescue Brigade jointly participated on November 22, 2024, according to the report. Including two photos of students — wearing uniforms similar to those seen in Douyin’s video — from building and learning using fire extinguishers.
