The hosts of “The View” are angry about Trump’s orders regarding the government’s DEI offices

Supporters of “The View” were outraged by President Trump’s remarks about the DEI’s government offices on Thursday, arguing that he is a racist green-lighter.

“I think that by ending this thing and doing it with courage on the first day, what he is doing is giving the green light to racist people, to people who love gays. To people who are against women and think they should be in the kitchen and tell them that there are no consequences for your racism,” said co-producer Ana Navarro.

The federal Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has notified the heads of agencies and departments that they must begin taking measures to close them all. diversity, equity and inclusion offices at the end of the day Wednesday and put government workers in those offices on paid leave, Fox News Digital reported Wednesday.

Colleague Sunny Hostin compared Woodrow Wilson’s move to further desegregate the federal government, which he said led to “increased wages not only for black workers but also for women.”

“I think it’s a fight for people of color, and what we’re going to see is a lot of pain, but especially in those communities that need those jobs,” Hostin added.

Sara Haines, who runs the program, pushed back against Navarro and Hostin, citing criticism of DEI’s programs, and argued that it was a “bureaucracy of money suck.”

The host asked Hostin a question about why people feel threatened by the removal of DEI offices.

Hostin denied that Trump’s orders “also remove protections against discrimination in the awarding of government contracts.”

Haines said the DEI’s criticism has to do with whether the programs actually work and argued that wasn’t always the case.

“The statistics show it’s very effective,” Hostin countered.

Hostin said Tuesday that Trump himself was “an employer of DEI,” arguing that he was an inherited employer and “was given everything.”

Ana Navarro who is in charge of the program said that the managers will be cleaned.

“They’re finding out, you know, who might be doing – I mean, they’ve been asking people in different departments of the organization to fire each other. You know, who’s liberal? Who’s a Biden supporter? Who’s an equal? And they’ve been cleaning up those people, which they told us they’re going to do,” Navarro said.
