Florida woman, 44, uses ‘botox’ to age after using mother’s age in fake hurricane relief: police
A 44-year-old Florida woman allegedly used her mother’s ID to apply for hurricane relief, telling city workers she looked younger because of botox.
According to the Bradenton Police Department, Veronica Torres has been charged with a third felony count of making a false public assistance claim after she applied for and received nearly $8,000.
Police say the 44-year-old man tried to trick government workers by using his mother’s name, driver’s license and social security information to apply for disaster relief.
In his application, the police said, he said that the damage after Hurricane Milton and Helene forced him to leave his home.
