A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck the Fontana area on Saturday, the US Geological Survey said.
The Inland Empire quake was centered less than five miles northwest of Fontana, the agency said. It occurred at a depth of 2½ miles at 8:17 pm
No injuries or damage were reported.
