Draymond Green Blasts Taylor Jenkins and Zach Edey After Bad Drama
Draymond Green aims to coach disgruntled Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins and rookie star Zach Edey after his gruesome incident in Friday’s Grizzlies-Warriors game.
In the third quarter, Edey hit the floor and his foot was caught between Green’s arms. Green was originally called for a change that was wrong with it.
After the game, the NBA upgraded the play to Flagrant 1 and Jenkins expressed his concern about the incident.

But Draymond Green has some thoughts about Jenkins’ reaction.
“You got janky Taylor Jenkins, who’s a softie-bro, this is game 11. He’s running to the media and crying foul, come on, bro,” Green said on his self-titled show. “Now guess what you just taught your 7’3″ rookie? Way to get emotional and run to the media talking dirty. We are big. We are big men. You don’t run to the media and talk bad. You are a great person!”
The Warriors forward went on to predict that other NBA teams will use this incident to target Edey, as he is clearly ‘not strong’.
“He’s big enough that he can fool people into thinking he can be a little tough,” Green continued to say. “Now no one believes you. Now Joel Embiid is going to try to put his chest on the stanchion, just to see, like, ‘Huh, I think he might be a little soft,’ BOOM!
In case you missed it, these were the first comments Jenkins made about Draymond after Friday’s game:
“Overall, I thought he was really good. And the most disappointing thing, there was that one play, then we go to halftime and he was playing hard trying to get out, Draymond grabs his leg and pulls him down and it’s not reviewed.
“So I know there is a code in this league, and I don’t understand how that wasn’t reviewed. It is very disappointing.”
