The suspected gunman has died after a shooting was reported at an Oroville elementary school, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
The shooting happened at the Feather River School of Seventh-Day Adventists, about 70 kilometers north of Sacramento, the Sheriff’s Office announced in a news alert shortly before 2 p.m.
There was no further information on additional injuries or details on how the suspect died. The shooting time was not yet available.
