Caitlin Clark keeps piling up outstanding numbers.
Clark has attracted historic audiences and attendance at her basketball games this year, both in college and in the WNBA.
And as the trading card industry boomed, Clark made history, becoming the first woman to be included in Professional Sports Authenticator’s (PSA) 10 Most Collected Basketball Players of the Year.
He came in at 6.

Clark had more than 77,000 trading cards organized by PSA. What makes her different from other women in her competition is how far she was going.
UConn star Paige Bueckers came in second with just 5,400 cards, while Angel Reese’s 4,700 cards came in third. That means Clark had more than 14 times more cards than Bueckers and about 16 times more than Reese.
This new data comes shortly after it was revealed that Clark’s Indiana Fever sold 90 times more tickets on StubHub this year than in 2023. The team with the second highest increase was Reese’s Chicago Sky, and Fever sales almost doubled (93) % More).
Few of the WNBA playoff games without Clark had fewer viewers than Clark’s regular season games, and the Clark-Reese battles had viewership not seen in more than two decades.

Clark was named Rookie of the Year for his historic campaign in which he set the record for most assists in a single season in league history. He carried the Fever to a playoff appearance after a slow start, and quickly became a double-double machine. He even set a single-game record with 19 assists and became the first player to record a triple-double, registering two of them. She received the most votes in the All-Star Game and was just the fifth in league history to make the All-WNBA first team.
All of this made him the All-Time Athlete of the Year, which drew criticism from Washington Mystics owner Sheila Johnson.
“Why didn’t they put the WNBA on that cover and say, ‘The WNBA is the league of the year’ because of all the talent we have,” Johnson said. “When you pick on one player, it creates hard feelings. So, now you’re starting to hear stories of racism within the WNBA, and I don’t want to hear that.”

But it’s clear that Clark has attracted a lot of attention in the sport, and without a doubt, she is the most popular female athlete in the country.
