Domestic equity benchmarks staged a comeback with gains of 0.6-0.7 percent each after five consecutive sessions of weakness. The Sensex rose 498.6 points to end at 78,540.2 while the Nifty50 settled at 23,753.5, up 166 points on the day. Shares of Vedanta are expected to trade ex-dividend on Tuesday. Earlier, the mining giant declared an interim dividend of Rs 8.5.
Neva
Nava’s board approved the proposal to split its stock in a ratio of 2:1.
Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services
The issue of Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services’ qualified institutional placement (QIP) was completed on Monday.
The company will be issuing 1.13 crore shares at Rs 523.2 per unit.
Greaves Cotton
Greaves Electric Mobility has filed a DRHP to float an IPO.
PG Electroplast, Whirlpool
Whirlpool India and PG Electroplast have signed a contract manufacturing agreement for selected models of Whirlpool branded semi-automatic washing machines.
As part of the agreement, PGEL will manufacture some Whirlpool SKUs at its factory in Roorkee.
PGEL is already an existing supplier of Whirlpool branded air conditioners.
Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, other telecom related stocks
Telecom regulator TRAI has amended the tax rules to authorize mobile service providers to roll out a separate plan for voice calls and SMS for non-data customers.
The regulator also removed the 90-day cap on special recharge coupons, extending it up to 365 days.
Bharat Forge
The company will invest Rs 549 crore in its American subsidiary Bharat Forge America Inc.
