MANILA – The annual inflation rate in the Philippines is likely to be between 2.3% to 3.1% in December, while inflation for the whole year was 3.2%, the central bank said on Friday.
The central bank said it will “continue to monitor developments affecting the outlook for inflation and growth in line with its data-driven approach to monetary policy decision-making”.
The Philippine Statistics Authority will release inflation data in early January. – Reuters
