Archaeologists find ancient tools dating back millions of years

More than 50 years ago, archaeologist Donald Johnson unearthed the remains of “Lucy,” an ancient relative who lived more than three million years ago. Now, another group of scientists has found new clues about what life was like during Lucy’s time, including the surprising discovery of the first tools dating back three million years.
